City Power under pressure 2/8

JOHANNESBURG - City Power says it's working against the clock to restore power supply in areas that were left in the dark by bad weather.
The utility says its system is under immense pressure following recent storms that caused flooding and damaged infrastructure.
It's urging residents to use electricity sparingly and has warned that while load reduction is suspended until the end of January,
it may be forced to re-implement it without prior notice to avoid a total grid collapse.
City Power spokesperson Isaac Mangena says they're attending to thousands of calls.
