JOHANNESBURG - Police say they cannot specify whether there’s an increase in crimes related to child pornography in the country.
They say the internet has created a platform for these crimes to be committed.

These sentiments come in the wake of the arrest of Darren Wilken, a Midrand man accused of creating and distributing child pornography on a global scale earlier this month.
Police have praised the work of their electronic crime investigations unit, which led to the arrests of Wilken and a number of other suspects.
