Cape Town's ganglands | Cameron condemns attack on officers in Hanover Park

CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town is offering a R20,000 reward after police were attacked in Hanover Park.

They want information that may lead to the arrest of those involved.

Law enforcers were responding to an exchange of gunfire between warring gangs.

But after arresting a suspect, community members turned against the police and assaulted them.

Parliament's Police Portfolio Committee Chair Ian Cameron is condemning the action.
