Brutal child murders shock Eastern Cape

PEDDIE - A disturbing trend is emerging in the Eastern Cape.

Brutal child murders are becoming a daily occurrence.

A 7-year-old has accused his mother of assaulting his 2-year-old brother and setting him alight in Peddie.

It comes in the wake of another 2-year-old who was recently found mutilated in a field in Bedford.

In Stutterheim, a child was hung and in another incident, a security guard allegedly shot a child dead.
