JOHANNESBURG - The ANC is assuring Afrikaners their language will not fade into the background.
President Cyril Ramaphosa gave the green light to fully implement the BELA Act in its current form.
It followed three months of deliberations to reconcile differences over language and admission policies.
The party's Febe Potgieter-Gqubule says Afrikaans can't be singled out as it is treated the same as the other 11 official languages.
