JOHANNESBURG - The trial of Thembisa serial rapist Sipho Lucas Phiri is set to begin on Tuesday morning.
Phiri is accused of inflicting a reign of terror between 2018 and 2023.
He allegedly raped at least 37 women, some who were just teenagers.
DNA obtained from the victims positively link him to 21 cases.
The Prasa security guard and law student allegedly lured his victims into his car before assaulting them.
Before the trial gets underway, the judge is expected to rule on eNCA's application to broadcast proceedings.
