2024 elections | Shooting at Limpopo election campaign

JOHANNESBURG - With less than 10 days before the polls, political intolerance is rearing its ugly head.

Violence erupted when supporters of the ANC and EFF clashed in Juju Valley, Limpopo.

Several people including a minor were shot during the altercation.

Limpopo police are investigating cases of attempted murder.

Police say members of the rival political parties pelted each other with stones and several shots were fired. 

They're appealing to anyone with information to come forward.

Police say there is a possibility of more cases being reported as investigations continue.

It's not clear what caused the altercation.
