JOHANNESBURG - Democratic Alliance leader John Steenhuisen says now that the 2024 election results are out his party can begin coalition talks.
The party has appointed a team to lead negotiations.
The ANC lost its 30-year-old outright majority in this week's election, winning only 159 seats in the 400-seat parliament, official results showed.
The DA was on 87, the MK Party on 58 and the EFF on 39.
