JOHANNESBURG - Families of those killed in Saturday night’s mass shooting in Wedela, Carletonville, will on Tuesday begin the painful task of identifying the bodies of their loved ones.
On Monday, the death toll rose to 18 after another victim succumbed to their injuries.
For one family, the tragedy has claimed two relatives, while another family member remains missing.

As families wait for answers, the community remains on edge, with police continuing the search for eight gunmen linked to the shooting.
Operation Prosper has also been deployed to intensify operations in the area as investigators work to establish the circumstances surrounding the shooting and track down the suspects.
