MANDENI - South Africa is failing to get more children living with HIV on lifesaving treatment.
Deputy president Paul Mashatile says it is concerning that some HIV positive children aged fifteen years and younger do not get the necessary treatment.

He says these children are left behind in the global HIV response programme.
Mashatile was speaking during the World AIDS Day commemoration in Mandeni, KwaZulu-Natal.
