Liquor traders
JOHANNESBURG - The National Liquor Traders Association has welcomed a move by Police Minister Bheki Cele to crack down on illegal shebeens and taverns.
Cele is blaming high crime rates on alcohol abuse.

The association says it's also dealing with its own members who are abusing the rules.
"We have noted the sentiments shared by the minister and we actually fully support them because the minister is actually saying that those establishments that are selling alcohol illegally should be closed down and are contributing to the irresponsible selling of alcohol in the country," said Lucky Ntimane from the association.
