World Palliative Care Day | Centre hopes to raise funds to keep doors open

CAPE TOWN - October 12 is World Palliative Care Day. 

St Luke’s Combined Hospices needs support so that it is able to offer patients facing life-threatening illnesses access to vital palliative care services. 

Palliative care is a specialised medical care focused on providing relief from the pain, and regardless of the diagnosis or stage of the disease. 

CEO, St Luke’s Combined Hospices Dr Ronita Mahilall spoke to eNCA about the challenges they are currently facing.
