DURBAN - A dedicated medical professional and family man has been diagnosed with a rare blood cancer and has been given six to fifteen months to live.
Dr Andrew Ross’s only chance of survival is a stem cell transplant from a matching donor.

Now despite this devastating diagnosis, Ross is turning his struggle into a mission, raising awareness about the life-saving impact of stem cell transplants.
He spoke to eNCA's Heidi Giokos on his journey as well as the importance of organ donation.
