Taste of Soweto brings new life to Zoo Lake

JOHANNESBURG - Zoo Lake is getting some Soweto flair.

Well-known restaurateur Sakhumzi Maqubela has revived the restaurant at the Joburg Park.

For five years the space had been abandoned and plagued with crime and drug-related activities.

Joburg Mayor Kabelo Gwamanda opened the new eatery.
