JOHANNESBURG - In the past week, the South African entertainment industry mourned the loss of two iconic musicians, Winnie Khumalo and Victor "Doc Shebeleza" Bogopane, who died days apart.
Both were remembered in memorial services and laid to rest at West Park Cemetery.
During their funerals, there were calls for more government support for musicians, with criticism over how they are celebrated more after their deaths than in life.
SA Guild of Actors chairperson, Jack Devnarain unpacked this with eNCA.
