New study to take a closer look at how TB spreads

JOHANNESBURG - A new international study will investigate where people with TB who show no symptoms are spreading the disease unwittingly.

South Africa and Indonesia are involved, both with high TB rates.

In SA, TB is one of the leading causes of death.

Prof Limakatso Lebina is one of the study co-leads and spoke to eNCA on this.
