CAPE TOWN - Two Western Cape high school pupils are making a big splash.
They are getting hands-on experience in oceanography and marine research.
The duo this week joined the SEAmester programme on board the SA Agulhus II.
The initiative is usually reserved for postgraduate students.
Their research voyage takes them from Cape Town Harbour to Durban until the end of next week.
Learners will assist specialist scientists while they conduct recognised marine research activities.
