Local entertainment industry stifling actors through unfair clauses: SAGA

JOHANNESBURG - The US actors and screenwriters strike may have ended. However, in South Africa the struggle continues.

It seems the local entertainment industry is not entertaining the grievances of performers.

The South African Guild of Actors is calling for the end of abuse and exploitation.

They are complaining of what they call 'unfair' clauses being added to contracts.

The Guild says there is no forum for them to discuss their concerns.
