Human Rights Day | Statue of Hope draped in Palestinian colours

JOHANNESBURG - Ahead of Human Rights Day, activists highlighted abuses in Gaza.

And where better to do it than at Constitutional Hill.

They draped the Hope Statue in Palestinian colours.
Human rights advocates claim that the circumstances in Palestine offer a chance to examine various forms of injustice both in our nations and throughout the world.  

Young activists think that there is still cause to celebrate Human Rights Day, despite the problems the nation faces.
