Female helicopter pilot flies SAPS flag high

JOHANNESBURG - The first female police Airwing Chief Pilot in the Free State is flying high, having been recognised at the Forty under 40 Awards.

Lieutenant Colonel Kgothatso Khunou has been named the overall winner in the aviation category.

She is one of only 17 female SAPS pilots in the country.

The awards honour and celebrate achievers under the age of 40 in different sectors.
