CAPE TOWN - Global social enterprise, Abalobi, has underscored the value of social entrepreneurship and skills development in their business model.
Abalobi, which was nominated for an Earth Shot Prize award last year, sets out to position small-scale fisheries for ecological, economic and social sustainability.
The prize was founded by William, Prince of Wales, and will honour 15 finalists for their climate innovations at an awards ceremony in Cape Town.
Five of the 15 finalists will be awarded £1-million each to upscale their innovations.
