Discussion | Breast Cancer | Decline in professional breast checks and self examinations

JOHANNESBURG - Over two-point-three million people were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022, and with 670-thousand deaths were recorded globally. 

Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide.  

But Only 45-percent of women can confidently spot the signs of breast cancer, That’s according to Avon Boob Census.

Over Seven-thousand women were surveyed worldwide and only half of them include self-examination as part of their self-care regime, which is a concern.
