NEW JERSEY - Sean 'Diddy' Combs could be released from prison sooner than expected.
The former rapper and music mogul’s release date has been moved up to 5 February 2028, according to US Federal Bureau of Prisons records.
Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted on two counts of transporting people across state lines for prostitution.
He was acquitted of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.
Prosecutors accused him of using violence, threats and coercion in connection with sexual encounters.
Combs denied the allegations and is appealing his conviction and sentence.
