At least that's what young people in China are doing.

They say dating is too much trouble and interaction with AI companions is more comfortable.

Office worker Tufei says her boyfriend has everything she could ask for in a romantic partner.

She describes him as kind, empathetic, and can talk for hours.

Except he isn't real. Her boyfriend is a chatbot on an app called Glow.

This is an AI platform, the brainchild of start-up Shanghai, offering friendly even romantic human-robot relations.

So, apparently the bot knows how to talk to women better than a real man.
It could be because humans are set in their ways, but AI gradually adapts to the user's personality and adjusts.
