JOHANNESBURG - For the past 27 years Buskaid has given young musicians an opportunity to nurture their talent and also take them to global stages to showcase their skills.
Now, Buskaid's founder and Director Rosemary Nalden is being celebrated by her own with a unique concert as she celebrates her 80th birthday.
The Soweto based ensemble promises to entertain with classics, jazz and amapiano on the 27th of August at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Braamfontein, Johannesburg.
Nalden and assistant teacher, Keabetswe Goodman had a discussion with eNCA's Abigail Visagie.
After the discussion a six piece quartet gave a performance in studio.
