PRETORIA - Controversial couple Peet and Melany Viljoen insist the payment they made to settle a debt they owed to a potential franchisee was not an admission of guilt.
The Viljoens, who own the Tammy Taylor SA brand, paid Tamara Mduzulwana just before an auction to sell off their movable property was set to get underway.
The couple is alleged to have sold a Tammy Taylor franchise to Mduzulwana under false pretenses.
She then cancelled the agreement and demanded her money back.
The R2.8-million they paid is just one installment in a lengthy series of battles to have hit the Pretoria couple.
