WATCH | Staying safe at the beach this festive season

JOHANNESBURG - As thousands of holidaymakers flock to the country's coasts and pools to cool off and chill, Lifesaving South Africa is appealing to beachgoers, to swim within designated bathing areas.

Authorities are targeting lower incidents in the water this summer,
as long as people follow lifeguard instructions.
