GNU is at risk if clauses 4 & 5 are implemented
CAPE TOWN - The Democratic Alliance is warning that the Government of National Unity will be at serious risk if President Cyril Ramaphosa implements clauses 4 and 5 of the Bela Act.
The party says the two clauses undermine the Constitution.
It is calling on all affected parties to accept the outcome of the Nedlac settlement between the Presidency, the Department of Basic Education as well as Solidarity.
The two clauses address language and admission policies at public schools.
