Discussion | Hypertension claims around 8m lives annually

 

JOHANNESBURG - Friday, 17 May is is World Hypertension Day. 

Hypertension, often termed the 'silent killer,' claims around 8 million lives annually and can lead to severe health issues such as heart attacks, strokes, and kidney failure if left untreated.

Dr Mosima Mabunda, head of wellness at Discovery Vitality spoke to eNCA.
