JOHANNESBURG - Wednesday's elections are expected to be South Africa’s tightest in the democratic era and with the voting day edging closer, turnout is expected to be a critical factor.

According to a recent poll by Afrobarometer and the Institute for Justice and Reconciliation, one-third of registered voters who intend voting are still undecided.
