JOHANNESBURG - The online activity and security of schoolchildren remains a concern. 

The Independent Institute of Education has banned the use of anonymous social media app Whisper, which it says is filled with inappropriate discussions and even sexual content. 

The institute is urging parents to be more vigilant and track their children’s online activity.

Group Psychologist at the Institute, Nasrin Kirsten spoke to eNCA.
