JOHANNESBURG - The Health Department says that asymptomatic tuberculosis remains a major health risk in South Africa.
Individuals with this type of TB are less likely to seek treatment as they do not show symptoms.
They can also unknowingly spread the disease.
Professor Norbert Ndjeka, the National Health Department's Chief Director for TB Control and Management, discussed this with eNCA.
