JOHANNESBURG - The family of late Afro-soul singer Zahara say despite their sadness at her passing, they are grateful for the messages of the support.
They have have also expressed their appreciation to the hospital staff, that took care of the singer in her last days.
Zahara's uncle, Nkosiyami Mkutukana said, "it is very sad to us as family to have to lost our daughter."
"Despite her fame to us she was a family member, a humble person an ordinary child to us."
"Before we confirm this passing away, we would love to express our appreciation to hospital staff."
