Cold snap hits Gauteng

JOHANNESBURG - If you woke up in Gauteng on Friday morning, you're probably feeling quite cold.

Temperatures plummeted on Thursday night as a cold front arrived.

It follows a series of cold fronts that have been moving across the country since Monday.

On Wednesday, snowfall blanketed Western Cape mountains, including Table Mountain.

Very cold, wet weather has prevailed along the coast.
