JOHANNESBURG - As more and more people travel the country visiting family and friends for the festive season, police are out in full force to make sure drivers adhere to the rules.

Since the beginning of December, more than 1,000 people have been arrested, over 600 of them for drunk driving.

Hundreds of unroadworthy cars have also been pulled off the roads.

So, what are your rights when you're stopped in a roadblock? JMPD Spokesperson Xolani Fihla explains.
