NORTHERN CAPE - The Northern Cape is managing to get its tourism sector blooming again.
It says local visitors are key to these improving statistics.

There are several free sites to visit, including rural historical tourist spots like Steinkopf's ‘Kinderlê’ Monument, which commemorates a clash between the Nama and San clans that led to the murder of 32 children in the 1800s.
The Covid-19 pandemic saw the provincial sector lose R50 million in 2020.
