Thuso Mbedu's reign begins
JOHANNESBURG - South African actress Thuso Mbedu is in the country to promote the latest film she features in- The Woman King.
Inspired by true events, it was shot in South Africa and tells the story of the 19th-century Kingdom of Dahomey in West Africa.
Following her international success, Mbedu has Africa beaming with pride as she made an appearance at the film’s premiere earlier this week.
Local television stars have thrown their support behind the movie.
The Hollywood star hopes her victories in the industry will inspire up and coming talent.
