LONDON - Fancy yourself in a princess gown?
Well if you have a few millions in your purse, you can.
Some of Princess Diana's iconic clothes are going up for auction.
Sotheby's is offering bidders an opportunity to own clothes she wore in her most famous pictures.
Two pieces will go under the hammer.
Her black-and-white Murray Arbied strapless gown is expected to fetch up to R2.2-million.
She wore that in 1985 to Windsor Castle for Prince Edward's 21st birthday.
Another piece is the famous black sheep jersey she wore to a polo match a month before her wedding in 1981.
The item is expected to reach at least R1.3-million.
If you fancy putting in a bid, the online auction begins on 31 August and runs until 14 September.
