LOS ANGELES - US action star Bruce Willis has been diagnosed with an untreatable form of dementia.
This has been revealed by his family.
The A-lister retired from acting less than a year ago because of growing cognitive difficulties.
He stepped away from Hollywood in March and has been out of the limelight since then.

At the time he was diagnosed with Aphasia which affects cognitive abilities.
Now, the 67-year-old 'Die Hard' star has received a more specific diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia.
The condition causes the loss of ability to understand or express speech.
