JOHANNESBURG - Labour expert Johan Botha is warning employers not to take the planned COSATU strike lightly.
The Union federation has called for a national strike on Monday over retrenchments, unemployment and the rising cost of living.
Botha added that while business continuity is crucial, it’s also important to respect employees rights to participate in protected protest action.
However, a balance needs to be achieved to ensure operational goals and labour rights are respected.
