BRITS - The wedding bells were ringing loud and clear in Brits in the North West this weekend.
Over 400 couples tied the knot at the Jerusalem International Pentecost Holiness Church while at the IPHC church in Zuurbekom, 79 couples were united.

This is part of the church's longstanding Easter festivities and tradition.
Some members wedded in the church are in polygamous marriages, a long-standing African custom that the church has appropriated.
Meanwhile, the church is still dealing with an ongoing leadership battle after its founder died.

A succession battle over the throne of late church leader Glayton Modise has engulfed IPHC.
While the church succession battle continues, the decision of the High Court could put an end to the ongoing dispute over who's the rightful leader to steer the three million-member congregation.
