JOHANNESBURG - Mark Pilgrim has been fondly remembered at a memorial service held in Johannesburg.
The radio personality lost his long battle with cancer on Sunday, but leaves behind an inspiring legacy as a brave fighter against the disease.
His decision to publicly document his struggle was meant to provide hope for other cancer sufferers, something his friends and family say he managed to achieve.
Pilgrim's fiancee Adrienne Watkins says she'll remember the veteran broadcaster as a kind and selfless father.
"It's not goodbye, just farewell."
