JOHANNESBURG - You may be freezing now, but soon you will be sweating.
Experts warn South Africa is in for an especially hot summer this year.
Tafadzwa Mabhaudhi from the UKZN said El Niño will be in full effect, bringing extreme weather conditions.

He says recent weather patterns seen in North America and China are evidence of what's to come.
"What we are seeing is just the beginning of what scientists have been talking and warning us about.
"We’re starting to see those implications manifesting in these heatwaves that have been experienced in Europe, North America and China."
