JOHANNESBURG - Approximately half of the country’s women between the ages of 15 and 64 failed to contribute to the country’s economy as a result of their exclusion from the labour force.
This is according to President Cyril Ramaphosa.
He highlighted the importance of women's contribution and the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on them while giving keynote address at the Women Economic Assembly.
