JOHANNESBURG - Economic adviser to the Optimum Investment Group Dr Roelof Botha says the economic outlook in South Africa in the coming year is set to be positive.

He says that despite the global economic trends, and domestic infrastructural challenges, the price of Brent Crude and the stronger rand are set to boost the ailing economy.

In 2023, the country saw record-high food inflation which left many desperate to make ends meet.
