WATCH | Political standoff delays formation of executive

JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng residents will have to wait a little longer for Premier Panyaza Lesufi to name his executive.

Lesufi postponed his announcement yesterday after talks with other parties collapsed. Lesufi has blamed the "annoying" DA. 

While political parties are embroiled in power plays, some fear that the Gauteng government may suffer the same fate as coalition metros Johannesburg, Tshwane, and Ekurhuleni.
