WATCH | Inmates taught tradeable skills behind bars

JOHANNESBURG - Inmates are producing their own clothing and food. That's according to Justice and Correctional Services Minister Ronald Lamola.

Lamola says his department is teaching inmates skills that can be used in the outside world, and this is bearing results.

Despite a cloud of doubt following the Thabo Bester saga, Lamola has presented a budget that shows how inmates are being rehabilitated.
