WATCH | Cape Town Mayor tables 'pro poor' budget

CAPE TOWN - Cape Town Mayor Geordin Hill-Lewis has tabled a massive R70bn draft budget for the 2023/24 financial year.

An R11bn slice of this is earmarked for infrastructure investment.

Called the Building Hope Budget - the money will be spent on economic growth, ending power cuts, addressing water and sanitation problems and making Cape Town safer.
