WATCH | Blackouts take a toll on tax collection

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Revenue Service (SARS) is warning of reduced tax collection this year, mainly because of power cuts.

Businesses are frustrated by the rolling blackouts, and consumers have fallen on hard times because of the skyrocketing cost of living.

The revenue service says it's lost about R60bn due to blackouts.
