WATCH | Attracting the world to SA shores

JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is standing ready to welcome tourists and visitors to its shores.

That is the message from tourism stakeholders gathered in Japan earlier this week.

SA officials took part in a global tourism expo.

Japan will open its doors to tourists from 11 October, following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Its citizens have started travelling despite the high cost associated with those restrictions.
